Pre-defined macros as part of a key sequence in Tribute

I'm so glad someone asked about function keys!

The Function Keys can do anything!  The sky is the limit!

They store key sequences for playback.  You can program a key to playback a common field value.  For example, if you programmed the F4 key with:

                    Please Ship Overnight{TAB}

you could enter a common shipping instruction when you press the F4 key!

You can use any of these pre-defined macros as part of a key sequence:

Macro    Keyboard equivalent
{RETURN}    Enter key
{TRANSMIT}    Ctrl+Enter key combination; causes a transmit
{NEXT}    Ctrl+N key combination; switches to the next screen
{TAB}    Tab key
{BACKSPACE}    Backspace key
{DELETE}    Delete key
{INSERT}    Insert key
{LEFT}    Left Arrow key
{RIGHT}    Right Arrow key
{UP}    Up Arrow key
{DOWN}    Down Arrow key
{PGUP}    Page Up key
{PGDN}    Page Down key
{HOME}    Home key
{END}    End key
+    Shift key
^    Ctrl key
%    Alt key
 
Macro    Toggles the state of the
{CAPSLOCK}    Caps Lock key
{NUMLOCK}    Num Lock key
{SCROLLOCK}    Scroll Lock key
{F2}    F2 key when used without modifiers
{F3}    F3 key when used without modifiers

Reserved Characters
A number of special characters are reserved. If a key sequence includes a reserved character, it must be enclosed in brackets:

Shifted / unshifted
Displays two sets of function keys. Select this option to view and program Function Keys F14 through F22. If your keyboard does not contain keys F14 through F22, press SHIFT + F4 for F14 and so on. Clear this option to program Function Keys F5 through F12.
Remember that typically Function Key F10 is reserved for TRANSMIT.
